Tahquamenon Falls is famous for its red colored water and high volume flow (third highest east of the Mississippi in spring). The falls are 200 feet wide and just under 50 feet high. Tahquamenon Falls are equally beautiful in all seasons.
Short Walk: The falls are accessible via a half mile hike from the parking area. Other viewing areas are a short walk downstream. You can take the same path further downstream to the smaller lower falls.
