Description
Devil's Bathtub is a kettle hole -- a depression formed by retreating glaciers. The surrounding bog is a closed ecosystem. In addition to the geological significance of the pond, it is the center of local intrigue. The trail leading up from the pond to a small parking lot was the endpoint for two of the region's most notorious murder cases in 2009 and 2016.
Short Walk: The sunken pond is a short run down the staircase from the upper parking lot just south of the pond.
