Overview
Fort Custer comprises over 3,000 acres of forest and oak savannah. Amenities include 219 campsites with water and electric hookups. There is also a dump station. Three lakes provide no-wake-boating, fishing, and kayaking. A large beach at Eagle Lake includes a concession stand, bath, and changing facilities. Hunting is allowed in some areas of the park. This is usually not an issue if you wear orange from Oct. 1 through Dec. 31 and don't wear antlers on your helmet!

Fort Custer has 219 campsites with water and electric hookups. There is also a dump station.
Food & Drink
Augusta is located just 1/2 mile outside the park. Players Grill sports bar with a variety of local microbreweries beer on tap; Lickity Split, a walk-up ice cream parlor with locally crafted ice cream; Nina's Taqueria - great authentic Mexican Fare; Channel Street Cafe for higher end dining; and Dig In Cafe - best breakfast in town. There is a single gas station/convenience store and a local pharmacy with some limited hardware supplies. Enjoy Augusta!
