Need to Know

Best accessed by foot from Seattle Ferry, but there are plenty of street parking by the trailhead on Winslow Way

Description

The Sound To Olympics Trail is a short 1.2 miles but will eventually extend north through Bainbridge Island onto the Kitsap Pennisula and all the way to the Olympic National Park. The trail begins across from the Bainbridge Ferry Terminal giving those traveling by foot from Seattle the ability to jump on a trail right from the boat. For now you can combine the STO trail with the Sakai Park Trail and John Nelson Trail for an out and back that brings you back to downtown Winslow where you can relax with food and drinks at the many cafes and restaurants nearby.
