Description

This trail is a simple boardwalk that runs along the back of Rocky Neck's beach. While it is indeed a boardwalk it is simple and low to the ground so it is often very sandy. Nonetheless, it is a very nice path with great views of the beach and shoreline.

The boardwalk begins at the entrance to West Beach by the railroad bridge. It continues along the back of the beach and the train tracks. The trail climbs slightly as it approaches East Beach. Near the eastern terminus of this trail, it arrives at what is by far its coolest feature. Here, the trail becomes a more traditional boardwalk as it crosses over Bride Brook, turns north, runs under another railroad bridge, turns east again before ending. This section is very unique and very cool.
