Description
The trail spurs off of the Piney Spring Trough #870 trail. It begins as a doubletrack, but then you'll take a right onto a singletrack trail. It remains a singletrack trail until after it connects with Little Piney Access #868. There isn't a sign marking this trail, so keep on the lookout for it when you are heading down the doubletrack. If you stay on the doubletrack, you'll be going the wrong way. This other route dead ends on a hill top.
The singletrack starts out great, but it gets rocky and rough in the middle. The trail evens out towards the end. It is a nice path overall, but it doesn't get much use so it is a little overgrown in some places.
