Need to Know

Climbing on rocks may be hazardous.

Description

On the west side of the day-use parking area is a trail that leads to the lake. Branching from that trail is a path that follows the base of a long sweeping rock wall that is the most visually interesting geological feature of the German Ridge Recreation Area.

Hikers can either loop around the top of the hill via the campground roadway, or loop down toward the lake and back up to the parking area.
