Parts of trail are sometimes flooded depending on water level, but are fairly easy to work around.

Runner Notes

Portions of the trail are very rocky and other portions tend to be damp. Other spots tend to have fallen trees that need to be ducked under or jumped over

Description

This trail is a fairly easy run. It is well-marked with arrows for the most part, although occasionally it makes odd detours due to parts of the original trail being underwater. At the endpoint is a lamppost (hence the nickname) surrounded by large, moss-covered boulders. This section also has several coves giving amazing picnic and snack spots. The trail connects to the John Arthur Woollam Preserve and the trail network it contains

While running, you'll pass two old/abandoned houses as well.
