Restrooms are at the trailhead in Sumner Park.

Access the trailhead at Sumner Park at 232 W. 1st Street, Pecatonica, IL 61063. From the parking lot, head south and cross W. 1st Street.

The trail curves east and travels through the Village of Pecatonica. After 1 mile, the trail pavement changes from asphalt to crushed gravel on the village outskirts. Continue on the trail through the countryside, crossing several backroads along the way, before arriving at the end at the trailhead at Hoisington Road.
