Runner Notes
Good trail with some loose cobbles.
Description
As you approach the final ascent of the Cerro La Cruz Trail look for a trail that heads up to the right just as the trail passes over a rocky outcropping. The trail starts powerfully as it turns right to gain a rocky ridge. After a half mile it flattens out for about a mile as you run about a precipitous edge. Eventually it gets steeper again and makes switchbacks to the summit.
