Description

This is a poorly maintained route that starts at an unmarked intersection just off of Forest Road 210. Work your way over to the foot of the mountain where Huckleberry Creek comes out and cross it. From here, the trail follows the creek on the north side about halfway up. As the creek dwindles, the trail crosses over to the south side and gets a little better. The farther you go, the steeper it gets and the more you wish you had just taken Hell Roaring Trail #097. After 4 miles and numerous threats from your running party, you'll finally reach Alice Lake - Redfish Lake Trail #092 with views of Hell Roaring Lake from the ridge.
