Need to Know

The La Crosse Blufflands South-Hass Tract is permanently protected by Mississippi Valley Conservancy, and owned, managed, and maintained by City of La Crosse Parks Dept. Call 608.789.7533 with concerns. Funded in part by the Knowles-Nelson Stewardship Program.

Description

The Ridge Crest Trail starts by descending into a creek bed, complete with stepping stones over muddy springs making their way to the creek below. A wood platform makes it easy to cross the creek and begin the ascent to the top of the bluff. At the end of Ridge Creek Trail at the top of the bluff, there is a stone bench overlooking the Mississippi Valley.
