Description

Cliff Trail connects the triple junction of Cliff, Strausbaugh Trail, and Sheldon Trail with the Nuttall Trail. The main features of this short but steep trail are the rock formations exposed on the upslope side of the hill (left side if running uphill). Look for the Core Arboretum information signage that describes the geology of these rock formations to learn more about the earth history of the region. This trail is very steep and can get slippery and muddy when wet. Join this with other Core Arboretum trails to create a variety of interesting loops in this urban retreat.
