Best between October and April due to sand and lack of shade.
Description
This is a classic desert trail that takes you across canyons and plateaus. Wild horse sightings are common on the plateaus. The trail goes from being in an open valley to a tight canyon with rocks all around. There are numerable creek crossings that can be deep in the spring.
Since this is horse country, there are a number of faint side trails. Follow the tracks and signs and you'll be fine.
The parking area near the bottom has restrooms and maps and is a great place to start this run. Combine this trail with Bingo and Reynolds Canyon for a nice long loop.
