Currently, this trail is cleared on a three-year basis so, at times, the downfall can be bad. The trail starts off of the Peace Creek Trail and will climb over a small peak to start. There is currently no signage at the beginning of the trail, but you can see the trail as you climb onto a prominent saddle on Peace Creek Trail.

Once atop the saddle, you'll have a steep and rough downhill. There are lots of roots and rocks to contend with. The trail mellows after about 3 miles and become twisty, following the Silver Creek River down. The last part of the trail is fairly flat. The trail ends at the Peace Creek Trail right near the parking lot.
