Description

This trail starts at a two car lot with a small sign designating the trailhead. It's best done after a few days without rain or else you'll be dodging small muddy bogs throughout.

Like many trails in the area, this short run will bring you through dense undergrowth with tall cedars and spruce surrounding you. There are quite a few small obstacles created by the lacing of the roots of these large trees. The trail opens up on a small secluded point that is home to a sacred burial ground of the Auk People, and was an original village site of the A'akw Kwáan people. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in July of 2016.
