Much of this trail is singletrack. Part of the trail takes you over a bridge across Cub Lake. You'll have to traverse the campground and a series of cabins as part of the trail as well as the levee on the eastern shore of Cub Lake. Low-lying areas will get your feet soggy if it has rained recently. There are plenty of views of the lake. Expect to see fellow runners along the trail as it is well-used.
