This short and easy track takes runners through a dense patch of native bush. Along the way, there are several signs with various dates that mark where the terminal end of the glacier used to be. It is impressive to see how much the forest has grown as well as how much the glacier has retreated since the marked dates. On a quiet day, you'll be joined by bell birds and fantails. Overall, this is a short but pleasant little track.
