Runner Notes

There is running water at the beach house restrooms during the summer, as well as a concession area. Out of season, however, there is no potable water in this area.

Description

This is a pretty trail, with a forgiving surface. It's great for an out an back from the beach, or a link in a longer outing, as it can be combined with the North Snowmobile Trail or the McBride Nature Recreation Area trails. This trail is especially scenic, as the spillway itself is a destination in the area.

Flora & Fauna

This area is well populated, making it difficult to see much in the way of wildlife. Visitors may be able to catch signs of aquatic life such as fish or turtles.
