There is a sign at the trailhead with the rules of the trail. As this is a popular spot, please respect your fellow trail users!

There are trees to provide shade almost the entire way, so this is a pleasant path in any season. Along the way you'll find benches to sit and enjoy the flora/wildlife. There is a creek along the entire trail, so the relaxing sound of water can be heard most of the way.

You will see lots of wildflowers in the late summer and fall. Deer can be observed in some of the open fields.
