Description

From the ridge where the Logan Dry Canyon trail ends and this trail begins, the trail starts to descend down towards Logan Canyon.

The trail then turns back to the southeast and then starts to cross a series of drainages and avalanche paths in the northern shadow of Logan Peak. The avalanche paths are of particular interest with the steep cliffs and gullies above and the talus underfoot. In the middle of one of the avalanche paths there is a roughly made sign that shows a small path off to a spring to the left (north) which is a short jaunt off of the path for some water if you've run out.

After this sign, the trail goes up some switchbacks as it ascends up and around a small ridge. The trail continues to undulate but gradually ascends as it crosses these drainages and heads toward the Inspiration Point Road FR 126.

Eventually the trail enters a dense forest, and as it passes through this forest it crosses a final, more shallowly sloping drainage that has a faint trail going off to the right. The actual Logan Dry-Mill Hollow trail continues to the left and ends up meeting up with the Inspiration Point Road FR 126, where the trail ends.
