Need to Know
Water can run across the trail after it rains. There are a couple streams along the way, but you can get over them with one step.
Runner Notes
On the downhills there are a lot of roots, so watch out for those. I wouldn't recommend this trail if you have bad knees.
Description
This is a short trail that leads up to Mount Zion. Starting at the trailhead, the first 0.5 miles is a steep incline. Dogs can get up just fine (my 70 lb mutt did great). It will definitely get your blood flowing at first, then the trail levels out for a quarter mile or so before a slow and steady decline where you come to a fork. The trails are clearly marked with wooden signs shaped like arrows. This trail doesn't end with a view, but the trees are pretty.
Flora & Fauna
You'll experience lots of trees and different vegetation.
