Description

Beginning at the White Oak Conference Center, this asphalt path runs west then south to cross over White Oak bayou on a dedicated trail bridge parallel to Alabanson Road. The trail ends at the White Oak Bayou Greenway

This was originally a golf cart path in the Inwood Forest Golf and Country Club which was opened in 1967 and closed in 2007. In 2011, the City of Houston purchased the 227-acre course for flood control purposes. In March 2020, the Houston Parks Board completed the Inwood Detention Recreation Study, which envisions 12 miles of trails connecting parklets and wild areas around planned stormwater detention basins.
