Description

This trail combines with Red 2 (R2) to form the horseshoe-shaped loop on the eastern edge of Hammond Hill forest. The northern end of this trail connects back to Red Man Run Road (Forest Access Road). This trail is generally the easier half of the horseshoe loop.

Flora & Fauna

The red-spotted newt is very common to the area in early summer and late spring. Be careful not to trod on the cute little creatures!
