A small amount of parking is available immediately west of the tunnel on NW Cornell Road (hence the name, "Tunnel Trail"). The trail climbs at a somewhat steep and steady pace for about a fifth of a mile before it terminates at the
Cumberland Trail. If you plan to go to Pittock Mansion, turn right on
Cumberland Trail which you can take for about a quarter of a mile to the Wildwood Trail. A left on Wildwood (south) will bring you to the mansion.
Note: Tunnel Trail and Old Cornell Trail do not lead to sidewalks or down to
Lower Macleay Trail. You can run along the edge of Cornell Road to get to Portland, but this isn't a great option.
