If following Math Branch Trail (6101), continue east and follow the meandering creek through the hollow. This trail has at least four creek crossings, depending on recent rainfall. Expect an overgrown and natural surface which gradually increases in steepness. About 1 mile from UU HWY, you'll come upon trees tagged with purple and no-trespassing signs. Make sure to follow the route south from the cabin to stay on public land. The trail resumes past the cabin's border.
