Need to Know

Best place to park is in a pull-off along the road or by the picnic shelter about 100 yards away. There is a port-o-potty by the boat launch. You may have to walk from boat launch parking area if the gate across the cattle grate is closed.

Runner Notes

Fairly rocky trail.

Description

The first 100' of this trail is fairly steep. Once you get to the top of the hill, you reach the loop. Turn left or right and follow the easy trail around the loop. Orange blazes mark the trail. At the southern point of the loop, you can connect to the Bixhoma Bluff Trail.

This trail was built as part of a Boy Scout project in 2007.

Flora & Fauna

Ancient Post Oak Trees.
