Description

Although this trail is more commonly used for winter activities as part of the Maxwell Butte Sno Park it can also be used in the summer to access Maxwell Butte Trail #3391 via the Maxwell Loop Trail. The summit of Maxwell Butte offers great views, but the length of this hypothetical out-and-back does not have views.

This "trail" begins as part of Forest Road 080 which continues past the paved sno park parking area as a single-lane gravel road. The road ends at a small turnaround / parking area which could support perhaps 4 cars about 0.55 miles along this trail. From here the remaining 0.15 miles is slightly overgrown singletrack that ends at Maxwell Loop Trail. the intersection is marked with signage placed up high to be visible over the snow.
