“Well-maintained trail that takes you from the bottom of Middle Steer Ridge Trail to the middle of Jim Donnelly Trail.”
— Gil Birman
Need to Know
Near the bottom of the trail is a stream if you need to filter some water.
The full name for this trail is Jim Donnelly East Connector Trail. If you come down Middle Steer Ridge Trail
, this is the most direct way to get back to Jim Donnelly Trail
. It's very similar to Jim Donnelly Trail
in that it's extremely well maintained with logs and piles of rocks keeping the track well-defined. There are plenty of switchbacks making it easily climbable. The terrain is mostly smooth and not technical.
