A shady trail that sadly dead ends.

Description

The trail into Deuel Creek is a fun jaunt, but it will eventually dead-end unless you love bush-whacking. Perhaps in the fall, the creek bed is easier to follow, but I found it all too overgrown to actually go up any further. If you could run this all the way up, you would end up at the north end of Session's Mountain Road, which is also the south end of Sky-line drive. Look for the swing that someone has setup on a tree.

Exiting Deuel Creek on the north side, the dam comes into view.

This section of the route is a bit scrambly. I just walk it.

You need only use a very, very short section of the fire-break road before joining up again with the BoSho trail visible on the left. Don't go right here unless you love car exhaust.

Going left takes you across the dam, right takes you on a fun trail with a bridge, and straight is a dead-end.
