This course is a figure-eight loop through Soaring Eagle Regional Park. The run connects multiple trails within the park to create a 6.5-mile loop that is used for trail races to create the half-marathon-and-up distances.
Need to Know
There is some running water to cross but most spots have stepping stones or bridges.
Specific to the April Spring Eagle Trail Run: Aid stations will be at the start and figure-eight crossing on the course and will have water/sports drinks and basic foods.
This area is popular with bikers and hikers as well, so keep your head up.
This is an awesome run through Soaring Eagle Regional Park made up of wide downhills and tight singletrack climbs. It is fun in either direction although the race is run in the direction mapped. The majority of the second half is a singletrack climb back up to the start/finish line. It is not very technical, but is a very fun little way to end the race.
There is a moderately sized parking lot with access to street parking on the roads entering the park.
