This steep fire road is part of the main connection through the El Cerrito Hillside Natural Area from flats to crest.

Description

This is one of the few dirt routes at least partway from the East Bay Plain up to the parks in the Berkeley Hills. Quite steep in the central segment, there are unimpeded views of the central Bay from the portion that runs along the top edge of the cut left by quarrying in the past.
