Thankfully, there are no horses out here. They would destroy these spongy old roads.

Description

This old forest service road follows a great ridge making for a pleasant run. This is Forest Service Rd. #230. With view of Tickey Fork on both sides, the scenery is pleasant along its entire length. In order to get here from Irvine, the road to Clay City is very rough and steep. It is passable but very rough so be prepared if you are running or driving that it will take a little extra time to navigate.
