You'll have a beautiful view of the Gunpowder Falls throughout this entire trail; depending on the season you'll see fishermen in the Gunpowder. When running by them, usually it is best to be quick and quiet (so you don't 'spook' the fish)—just a common courtesy.

This is just one of the many trails in the Hereford Gunpowder Falls State Park Area. Along the way, runners will encounter rolling hills, some logs and rocks here and there, and small stream crossings too! Overall, this is a fun singletrack that runs along the Gunpowder Falls with beautiful views. Very similar to the Gunpowder South Trail (White), this trail hugs the Gunpowder Falls closely, so watch your step as you run right along the water during various portions of the trail. Keep you eyes open out there for deer, heron, and other birds as well. This is a great trail as an out-and-back or it can be combined it with the many other trails to make a beautiful loop.
