This trail follows the edge of Lake Taneycomo and provides a more difficult hike. It's possible to get to it via the Bluff Trail or Ridge Top Trail. The trail include the "Grotto" which can sometimes form an interesting waterfall following rain. Also, be on the lookout for the "Old Soldier's Cave" and a smaller unnamed cave along the way. At the end of the trail, you'll find an interesting rock formation known locally as the "Eye of the Needle."
