The gate is generally left open. When gate is not manned, there is an honor payment system near the park office.
Description
This easy trail provides an enjoyable, somewhat rooty, run in either direction. It's heavily wooded which makes it shady but also damp if it's rained recently. In the fall, the trail is wide but it may be heavy with brush in the spring. Wear long pants/sleeves if you're allergic to the Ivy's... there's a lot in these woods.
