Description

Another must do trail segment especially if this is your only visit. The northern segment dips along the downhill side of Silvermine Trail. It includes numerous log crossings, a short rock section, and a short but steeper climb. There are several boulders adjacent to the trail providing alternate lines and play spots.

Outcrop crosses Silvermine Trail about midway, offering an alternate access/bailout point. Users will encounter a bouldery climb through the outcrop after crossing Silvermine Trail. The rest is fairy level with a couple boulder crevices to run through along with more log crossings and boulders. The trail ends with a gradual rocky descent reconnecting to Silvermine Trail at the former gas well site.
