Trail shared by Timothy Parrish

A smooth and rolling loop around Hickory Mountain.

Features -none-

DuPont State Recreational Forest is a very popular multiuse, bi-directional trail system, so be on the lookout for hikers, horses, and bikers. It is normally open in any weather although it can close in extended periods of freeze / thaw during the winter.

Description

After doing the fantastic Ridgeline trail, take a left and head North along the trail with the old firing range to your right. Once back into the forest cover, you'll roller-coaster around the top of Hickory Mountain. Rolling and slightly rough, this trail is fun.
