“Skinny singletrack with a steep cross slope, rocks and a few rock step ups.”
— John Geronimo
Typically snowy from November through February. May be closed during the summer months due to fire danger, check with the ranger station for details.
South Faulty begins at the end of Bill Spring Trail
. After a few hundred feet, Oso Corredor Trail
heads west and South Faulty continues south.
The trail contours along the steep mountainside with rocky sections, but only a couple of rocky steps. Eventually, the trail hits the wilderness boundary and continues south to the junction with South Sandia Crest Trail (#130).
