Take some time at the Chörbschhornhütte to enjoy the view because you'll want to focus all your attention on this trail once you start.

The next 4.5 miles is an awesome 1000 m (3400 ft) singletrack descent to the valley floor; there a very steep grades, lots of switchbacks, and berms and small jumps for the mountain bikers. In the second mile, you'll drop over 300 m (1000 ft) on an average grade of almost 20% (but even steeper in places). The path is relatively smooth and although narrow, you won't have large stones or roots to contend with. Most of the run is above the tree line, so you can see what's coming.
