Overview

Closed when flooded by melt off.
This is a great trail system featuring awesome singletrack with some small climbs that are perfect for runners of all levels. During summer months, the trail gets dry and dusty.

Description

This is a great trail system with some great views.

Access:
The main trailhead is located approximately -mile south of downtown Sisters just across the Whychus Creek bridge. Many park at the Village Green Park where parking and restrooms are available. Additional access at the top of the Peterson Run, off Three Creeks Rd. Some like to California shuttle and run back to town from here.

Additional Notes: This trail is extensively used by mountain bikers. Please stay alert while running to ensure your safety and the safety of others.

History & Background

The Peterson Ridge Trail was constructed in 1989 and consists of a combination of singletrack trail and old forest service road.
