Description

In and out described and shown: (It can be modified to go up to Worthen Meadow, or continue up the river to Pinto Park and beyond for the adventurous.)

Start with the Popo Agie Falls Trail from Bruce's Campground in Sinks Canyon SW of Lander, WY. Before crossing the short bridge to the Falls, stay to the right. A few hundred yards, you can go either right or left as the loop shows. I prefer going to the right on the way in. As you get to the ridge for the turn around, you can go,for anther mile to Sheep's Bridge.Going in, you'll get good views of the river. The ponds will be to your right as you approach the turn. On the upper route, you'll get magnificent views of the Popo Agie Falls and beatiful panoramas.

Flora & Fauna

June is the best time to see alpine flowers (sweetvetch, paintbrushes, forget me nots, alpine rock jasmine, arrowleaf balsams, avens and many more!)
