Runner Notes

Very busy!

Description

This hike is good for a quick family half day hike. The scenery is beautiful, winding through Aspen groves and providing a great view of Stewart Cascades at the end. Definitely recommended! I would have rate the trail 4 stars, but it is VERY busy. Count on stopping often to let hikers of all types pass on the singletrack. Being in a hurry doesn't help either as there may be times when you'll be following behind slower hiking groups.

There is a variation of this hike which come from the Sundance Resort. This variation is harder and not described here.
