Big Park, east of East Park Reservoir, was boggy and wet on June 8 in 2017.

Description

Important to plan for frequent lightning storms and rain at any time during summer months. Due to high elevation, snow can be an issue and the window of opportunity to hike this trail is limited

Flora & Fauna

Bear are a real concern, plan accordingly. Water is plentiful, just pack a filter. A variety of animals sighted such as bull and cow elk.
