Overview

Enjoy this easy route inside a preserved park (Parque del Bicentenario) with its own parking space, security, and restrooms.

Runner Notes

Watch for the tree roots in the middle of the trail in some parts of the route, as they can pose a tripping hazard.

Description

This is an easy loop trail on the outer limits of the park, and it has a little bit of everything: uphill, downhill, rustic stairs, a little bit of cement path and dirt road. Overall, the route is fairly gentle, making it an accessible route for all levels of runners.

Flora & Fauna

In the early morning or late afternoon, you'll encounter Central America agouti (cotuza in spanish), rabbits, turquoise-browed motmot (torogoz in spanish) and other kind of birds.
