Description

A fairly easy trail. The steepest incline is right off the parking lot, with a small hill toward the southern end. The path is kept mowed short and is fairly level. The eastern portion of the trail can become quite muddy or even marsh-like when we've had rain or snow.

Flora & Fauna

Signs warn of rattlesnakes, but I have never seen any snakes or any kinds of critters when I've been there. There are prairie grasses and wildflowers such as Indian blanket and sunflowers. Quite a few young trees have been planted in the last couple years, such as crabapple and honey locust.
