It's a quick loop, so you need to do a few for even a 5K.

Description

From the parking area the trail is pretty well marked - a dirt trail all the way around. There's a slight decline about a quarter of the way through, and then you get around a bend and you see the stream. You can hear the beltway - a bit - while you are going through, but it doesn't seem to take away from the setting too much.

Flora & Fauna

I've seen deer, squirrels, all kinds of birds, likely fox - although I have not seen any. I'm not good with names of wild flowers and trees, but I will check it out next time I go and give an update.
