You are not likely to see anyone on the trails except at the Cinder Cone Trail
. Be prepared.
You'll enjoy scenic singletrack running from the Cinder Cone Trailhead down to Horseshoe Lake Trail
around Snag Lake and Bathtub Lake. This is followed by a run up onto the Cinder Cone volcano and around the rim.
There are some spectacular views from the top of the volcano. Overall, this is a great experience running in a volcanic forest.
