Flat trail through the salt marshes with great views of the bay and an abundance of birds.”
— Chris Shannon
Features: Birding — Views — Wildlife
Dogs: No Dogs
There's a parking lot at the Eden Landing Road trailhead. There's street parking at the gate/bridge entrance from the Eden Shores neighborhood. The trail is only a few feet above the water line so it almost feels like you are walking in the middle of the bay with the flat salt marshes around you, especially if you walk at night. The marshes are filled with a wide variety of birds and there are great views of the bay and peninsula. You can continue north from the Eden Landing Road trailhead to more of the San Francisco Bay Trail, but it ends at the neighborhood for now.
