There are a number of root filled or muddy areas to watch out for.

This is a short outer loop through a pleasantly shaded stand of trees. Overall, it's not very long, but there's a number of intersecting connector trails that can be worth exploring too. Expect a few steep short hills and a few wooden foot bridges that cross an ambling stream that runs through the area.

Accessible from below the parking area or from the south end of the park via the paved trail system.
